Department of Office Management and Secretarial Practices has been established in 1996. Office Management is one of the most resourceful subjects. The eligibility criteria of applicants for the subject of Office Management is 10+2 in any stream. This department refers to the process of planning, organizing, guiding,  directing, coordinating, and controlling the activities of students who are working to achieve their objectives efficiently and economicallyOffice Management aims to enhance productivity and efficiency by improving the performance of office work. It helps in increasing office efficiency, smooth flow of work, maintaining public relations, minimization of cost, managing change and accepting the new challenges which help in achievement of goals of the organisation.  After completing the course, students have so many options in the private as well as public sectors. Graduates are prepared to move into such positions as secretary, executive secretary, administrative assistant, executive assistant, professional assistant, sales assistant, marketing assistant and research assistant. These positions involve a wide variety of tasks and assume varying degrees of responsibility depending on market needs, the needs of the firm, experience, skills, education level and personal initiative. With experience and ongoing learning, graduates may obtain work of a supervisory or managerial nature.   Department has well equipped laboratory with quality equipments to cater all the requirement of syllabi of different classes.Department has used the platform of teaching and learning through quiz Competitions and speed calculating Competitions, guest Lectures and Model Making Competitions. Providing Opportunity to students to show their talent, Leadership quality through extra curricular activities. Increasing Interaction between faculty and students. Students of Department have done well in Extra Curricular Activities,  N.S.S, N.C.C. They are also members of college Central Association and Youth Club.
